Mark V. Petersen currently serves as Managing Director for Concierge for Advisors, Inc. Mark also is President and Managing Member of Sensus Capital Group LLC Mark has built a successful career in developing and directing distribution strategies for alternative investment programs and helping investment managers with their capital markets activity while assisting Advisors and registered reps in expanding the diversification within their client portfolios. He has more than 30 years of experience in capital markets, sales, marketing and product development.

He has served as Executive Vice President and head of Capital markets for GWG Holdings, Inc. Previously he served as President of Behringer Securities and Head of Distribution at Behringer Harvard Holdings, LLC.

Petersen held several leadership roles with CNL Financial Group, Franklin Square Capital Partners, William Blair and Madison Harbor Capital. During his tenure, he held positions of increasing responsibility in retail and institutional securities sales and national account management. He has been involved in the successful launch of multiple new structured products investing in real estate, credit strategies, insurance and structured finance. He has been active with industry associations, Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA) and the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA)

Mark Petersen holds an MBA (’84) in finance from Baylor University and a B.S. (’78) in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He currently serves as a member of the Baylor University Board of Regents and is Past President of the Baylor Bear Foundation. He has served on the Hankamer School of Business Advisory Board and the Board of the Baylor Alumni Association.
